Guidelines and Reservations

We are excited to welcome you back to In Person Worship at Locust Ridge Church.

There are a few guidelines we will need to follow as a church family to maintain the health and safety of our members and to remain compliant with CDC recommendations and current requirements from our state and local officials. These are initial guidelines and are subject to updates as recommendations and requirements change.

*Due to social distancing, seating in the Sanctuary has been reduced to no more than 50% capacity. Seating options will be:

A. Sanctuary on the bottom floor

B. Sanctuary in the balcony

There will be signage and ushers available to assist you in making your desired and compliant seating selection.

*Online worship will continue virtually via Facebook Live and YouTube at 11AM.

*In Person service time will be at 11AM. We intend for service to last one hour. This will require us to implement a RSVP process, the details of which will be shared in another communication.  The doors will open at 10:30AM for those attending the 11AM service.  This will allow our team of volunteer cleaning staff to clean and disinfect surfaces in the building which will be done before each service.

*There will be no in-person Sunday School classes, in-person Youth Ministry, or nursery available until further notice.

*If any of the following apply to you, please feel free to remain at home and worship with us virtually:

A.  If you are in one of the high risk categories (COVID-19 High Risk Categories per CDC)

B.  If you have had a fever, cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath

C.  If you have experienced new loss of taste or smell

D.  If you have come in contact with anyone confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19

E.  If for any reason at all you feel as though you are safer at home

*Face masks are required to be properly worn at all times while inside the building. Both your nose and mouth must remain covered. If you need to take your mask off or partially remove it for any reason, we ask that you step outside to do so.

*Hand sanitizer will be placed prominently at the building entrances and sanctuary entrance and exit.

*Temperature checks and COVID questionnaires will be administered upon entering the building. Questions will be as follows:

  1. Have you been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19?
  2. Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?
  3. Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
  4. Have you experienced new loss of smell or taste?
  5. Have you experienced vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?

*Please observe the social distancing seating arrangements based on the signage, seat taping, and guidance of ushers.

*The water fountains won’t be available.

*Last but not least, please avoid all physical contact between you and members who are not your immediate family or persons with whom you are already in regular physical contact.
